Artist, photographer and world traveller Mark Zelinski was at Chapters in Woodbridge on Saturday, signing copies of his hardcover photography books.
Impacted by some of the realities he’s witnessed in the 72 countries he has focused his lenses on in the last 35 years, Zelinski is now on a mission to make a difference. He is donating 6,000 copies of “Untitled”, a wordless story told in pictures, to children’s charities around the world that they can use for fundraising and education.
Among the local beneficiaries of the artist’s donation is LOFT/Crosslinks Street Outreach and Services Network, which offers assistance to the homeless in York Region.
In the photo above, Zelinski, at right, discusses some of his works with Barry Fisher of Thornhill, who describes himself as “a keen amateur”.
