 Sweet activity for the family:

Attention all pancake lovers! Tap into the sap — Don’t miss out on the 42nd Annual Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival at the Kortright Centre for Conservation. Last year, thousands of people came out to welcome the spring season by sampling syrup and munching on pancakes. It’s a great way to spend time with the family so bring the kids and join in on the fun. On until April 11.

 For the thrill-seeker:

It’s that time of year again — rides and slides mixed with fun in the sun. Pick up your Canada’s Wonderland 2010 Season Pass for only $59.99 each when you purchase four or more and enjoy all the VIP perks that come along with it — like a sneak peek April 30 from 6 to 10 p.m., exclusively for Season’s Pass holders. Park opens for everyone May 2. Have fun and don’t forget your sun block.

 For the open-minded theatre junkie:

Experience theatre … with a twist. Watch Shakespeare as you’ve never seen him before with Macbeth in the Wild, Wild West, on April 6 and 7 at the City Playhouse Theatre. YTV television star Michael Lamport directs this adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth with gun-slinging at high noon. 7:30 p.m. Don’t miss it, or else.

 For the Canadian music lover:

This is for all music lovers out there: Multi-platinum selling rock band Nickelback comes to town April 8, performing live at the Air Canada Centre. Sharing the stage with Nickelback will be Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown and Sick Puppies. If rock ’n’ roll is your thing, this is one concert you don’t want to miss.

For the travelling, pint-loving interior design guru:

If by chance you just happen to find yourself in London, England in April, do check out the Ideal Homeshow that’s on throughout the month. Over 800 exhibitors, all displaying their vision of what interior design and decorating will look like in the future. A beauty retreat, interior design clinic and gadget exhibitions draw in the crowd’s attention along with many exhibits dedicated to home gardens and landscaping. While there, grab yourself a pint. Cheers!
