The employer’s filing period for Canada Summer Jobs 2021 Coming to an end. Nonprofits and public and private employers in Drummond with 50 or fewer full-time employees as of January 29.
The program supports employment of young people between the ages of 15 and 30. Organizations pledge to provide part-time and full-time jobs between the end of April of this year and the end of February 2022. The wage contribution is expected to be paid up to 75% of the hourly minimum wage in the public sector, especially as it has risen to 100% for non-profit organizations.
Last year, grant applications were accepted for 78 Drummond employers, totaling $ 653,086 across 161 positions and 14 municipalities.
