    Emergency services were called at about 7:30 a.m. on 134th Street after the explosion.

    The eight injured were taken to St. George’s Hospital, where an orange icon was triggered.

    Of those, six were seriously injured. So they were transferred to the Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus in Quebec, where they specialized in treating severe burns. The three of them are still fighting for their lives.

    Karen Boleyn saw her brother David rescue a victim while waiting for the firefighters to arrive.

    People were dragging a living corpse from the burning ceiling. They were roofing workersPauline says.
