No. 3 Ohio tops No. 9 Indiana 7-28 at halftime in a match in which Indiana had opportunities but was unable to take advantage of them. However, the game’s start wasn’t promising for the Hoosiers. With Indiana having the ball for the first time, Ohio State needed only two games to hit 75 yards and make an early 7-0 lead. Indiana’s attack was halted again, but this time its defense came by forcing Justin Fields to intercept him for the first time this season. Unfortunately for Indiana, it didn’t take advantage of that. She also did not take advantage of Fields’ second objection to her property later.

Indiana managed to equalize 7-7 early in the second quarter, but the Ohio State attack finally settled in the match after that and came out three times from relegation to finish the game and lead 28-7. If Indiana can turn these transformations into points as has happened so often this season, then we have a much different game ahead of us. As it stands, Hoosiers seem to have a very tall mountain to climb in the second half.
