CFL: Tavien Feaster returns to join Montreal Alouettes

Montreal Alois announced on Tuesday the signing of Tavian Pfister, the former NFL national champion and two-time NFL champion.

Pfister won the National Championship in 2016 and 2018 with the Clemson University Tigers. In three seasons with the Tigers, the 24-year-old had 1,330 yards on 222 coaches and 15 majors in 38 games. He also had 23 passes for 183 yards and a touchdown. The Spartanburg, South Carolina native is ranked second in program history with an average of 5.99 yards per carry.

He played his college season with the University of South Carolina Gamecox, sprinting for 672 yards on 124 buggies, crossing the goal line five times. He added 17 receptions and 87 yards through the air.

He then played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants and Detroit Lions. Last season, he played three games with the Arizona Cardinals.

“Tavian is a real tank who doesn’t shy away from running with the ball,” said Danny Macciusia, managing director of Wits. His strength combined with his speed add a lot of depth to our squad. »
