    Consoles Vs PC: What’s Better?

    It’s an internet age-old question.

Ever since the birth of both consoles and PC’s, people have always wondered which was the superior piece of technology among them.

Sure, you may be able to play Call of duty on an Xbox, but can you play at online casinos with just a console?

The aforementioned question is just one of the many valid points that get thrown up during the debate, and in this article, we will be trying to take an unbiased look at which of the two is better; consoles or PCs.

PC’s Just Have So Much Utility

When bringing up the comparison of PC’s vs consoles, it would be incredibly unfair to leave out perhaps the most defining feature of a PC; functionality.

Opposed to a console which can only be used primarily for entertainment, PC’s can be used for work, learning skills, programming, coding, and much much more.

In turn, this leads to the undeniable fact that PC’s are just the better option when it comes to overall functionality.

If you take someone who has neither a PC nor a console and were asked to choose what the best bet would be for them to get if they could only get one, the vast majority of people would suggest a PC.

Of course, that’s not to say that consoles are not highly-capable machines. You certainly can access other amenities apart from gaming such as Youtube, Netflix, and Google on a console with no issues.

However, as a rule of thumb, you’d always be better off going with a PC if overall functionality is something that is a key component for you, and this will likely remain the case for the foreseeable future.

The Newest Generation Of Consoles Changes Everything

If you were lucky enough to pick up a PS5 after black Friday, then you will be among the lucky few who are able to actually experience the beauty of the newest consoles for yourself.

The newest generation of consoles bring a lot more to the table than their previous incarnations, and they have made the gap between PC & console much smaller than it ever has been before.

When it comes to the debate of consoles vs PC for gaming, there are normally two schools of thought.

On the one hand, there is the argument that states a high-end PC will always be better than whatever new console is out at the time. Moreover, this is more than likely always going to remain true.

However, on the other hand, there are the people who say that the newest generation of consoles are much better than PC’s for gaming when it comes to overall bang for your buck as well as user experience.

You will not be able to get a PC with anywhere near the same performance as a PS5 or series X for a similar price, and many people find that the whole experience using a console just feels much more natural when it comes to gaming.

    So, which is your favourite?

In reality, a comparison between consoles and PC’s is not a very just comparison, and they just differ too greatly in almost all aspects.

However, as a general rule of thumb, high-end PC’s will always be ahead of the curve compared to consoles. The tech that is available for PC’s at the higher end is leaps and bounds ahead of what’s available from consoles.

Although, when it comes to gaming, consoles may now have a chance when compared to mid-range PC’s, and that is something that is truly exciting.
