The France Alzheimer's Association 31 and the Blagnac-Inicea Clinic are launching a free training/information course dedicated to caregivers who support, on a daily basis, their loved ones suffering from neurodegenerative diseases. This course is open to the general public, families with hospitalized patients, whether in the Blagnac clinic or not. The training meets the needs of many carers seeking help to improve the quality of support for a loved one. The session lasts 14 hours, and consists of 5 to 6 sessions. The training is led by a pair of trainers consisting of a trained psychologist and a volunteer (former family carer). Training takes place at the clinic site (11, Avenue Henri Ziegler, Blagnac) from 2pm to 5pm, Wednesdays, February 28, March 13 and 27, April 10 and from 2pm to 4pm, Wednesday, April 24, upon registration, tel. 09 60 01 58 21 / 05 61 21 33 39, [email protected]other information on the site francealzheimer.org/.

The clinic also opened a geriatric consultation. The treating physician or the person who has a prescription for a specialist consultation in geriatric evaluation can make an appointment directly on Doctolib, with one of the geriatricians in the clinic, by phone. 05 61 37 34 00, inicea.fr/smr/clinique-blagnac-haute-garonne-31700.

Regardless of this initiative, this approach is in line with the opening of the comfort station in 2010, which today has been translated into a service run by the ASA, every Thursday afternoon, from 2pm to 5:30pm, at 25 rue des Azalets. .
