    At the end of a comprehensive 125-hour training, 47 company managers recently passed their exams under the only university degree program in corporate governance in Quebec. These people join a network of nearly 1,300 Certified Corporate Directors (ASC) who hold the keys to tangible impact on boards of directors (BODs) and ensuring sound corporate governance.

    ASC: real added value for organizations

    The undergraduate degree program of the College of Corporate Managers at Université Laval leads to the designation of the ASC, three letters recognized throughout Canada and France. The network of ASCs has approximately 1 300 certified company managers from diverse backgrounds. These people already demonstrate their expertise in their field and, thanks to this high-quality training, master the tools that make them a real added value for boards. Quebec institutions can also access the College’s Corporate Directors Bank to connect with these exceptional candidates and draw on their expertise on their boards or committees.

    Once they receive their Certificate Diploma from the College of Corporate Directors, ASCs see their profile listed online in the Certified Corporate Managers Bank. This search tool facilitates the recruitment of highly qualified corporate managers, particularly by making it possible to select the best candidates according to their skills profile. Thus CAs can easily find the administrator that matches their needs.
