TORONTO – Save Jack Campbell 31 times to score his second knockout of the season and secure the Toronto Maple Leaves 2-0 win over Calgary Flames.
Jason Speza and Zach Hayman scored for Toronto (20-10-2), ending a three-game losing streak. This is only their second win in their last eight matches.
David Ritesh stopped 30 rounds of flame (15-14-3).
Michael Hutchinson Campbell, who participated in the match by scoring 3-0 zero and saving 0.951, helped the Leaves team take an evening leave for Frederick Andersen.
Since returning to the match from injury earlier this month, Andersen is 2-5-0 with an average of 876.
Spezza opened the scoring less than 90 seconds before the end of the first match, after Jake Muzzin read to play well to allow the Leafs offense to stay in the Flames area. It is the seventh for Pizza this season.
Hayman went 2-0 with his 11th of the season at the end of the second. In the match, Alex Galchenyuk collected his first assists this season.
