The sixth and final season of the Canadian series Welcome to Sheet CreekThe one who won the Emmy Awards last Sunday will be streaming on Netflix beginning October 7th.

The last 14 episodes of the hit series aired from January 7 to April 7, 2020 on CBC, Canada, and Pop TV in the US.

This comedy, which revolves around a family of privileged people who fall into a dilapidated hostel, went almost unnoticed during its first four seasons before becoming a hit on Netflix.

In its final season, comedy set in Ontario won seven Emmy Awards Sunday night, for a total of nine, a record for comedy. The show was nominated in 15 categories.

The four main actors and actresses of the series created by the father-and-son duo posed by Eugene and Daniel Levy won the simultaneous translation award in their special category: Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy for the lead roles, Daniel Levy and Annie Murphy for the supporting roles. This is the first time that the four Interpretation Awards have been awarded to actors from the same program.
