Tampa Bay Lightning has granted goalkeeper a one-year contract extension Brian Elliot.

A good deal for the 2022-2023 campaign will bring him $900,000, the same salary he’s been making this season.

Elliott joined Lightning early in the season to help Andrei Vasilevskiy.

In 16 games this season, he’s gone 9-3-3 with 2.22 goals versus average and 0.921 percent.

Team Lightning secured the berth for their elimination match Thursday night.

Summon Domingo to Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh Penguins called up the goalkeeper in Quebec Luis Domingo from their school club.

The 29-year-old has played one game for Pittsburgh this season, clearing 40 pucks in an overtime win against the San Jose Sharks on January 15. Later he was sidelined due to an injury to the lower body.

In 22 games with Wilkes Barry/Scranton of the MLS, Domingo went 10-9-2 with 2.41 goals-to-average and 0.924 save percentage.
