“Rosemary Frablick and Dominic Scalzi have submitted their resignation to Deutsche Bank as of the end of the year, which is what the bank has accepted,” bank spokesman Daniel Hunter said in a statement.
“I have chosen to resign my position with the bank as of December 31st and I look forward to my retirement,” Frablick said in a statement.
The Trump organization is under investigation by the Manhattan attorney general’s office and the New York attorney general, and both agencies have summoned the bank about the lending relationship with the company.
Investigators are looking into whether the Trump Organization has misled or defrauded the lender by inflating the value of some of its assets, according to court files.
In recent weeks, two Deutsche Bank employees have been questioned by investigators with the criminal investigation and asked general questions about their lending practices. The employees did not work at Trump’s expense.
Vrablic has first-hand knowledge of Trump’s relationship with the bank while handling the account in recent years.
Frablick’s lawyer declined to comment on the investigation.
Her lawyer said, “Ms. Verblick is committed to cooperating with the authorities if requested to do so.”
